Inspirational ideas from 100 South West companies are helping drive the region's small and growing businesses forward in a pioneering campaign staged by the RDA and Business Link.
Each of these 100 businesses displays the type of determination, passion and innovative approach that has enabled them to go head-to-head with their market leaders and succeed despite fierce competition..
The campaign, '100 South West Business Challengers', gives no-nonsense advice and tips on essential topics for businesses. Launched on January 25, the campaign will run until June 11.
Each working day a new Challenger profile will be uploaded onto a special section of Business Link's website - www.businesslink.gov.uk/southwest/challengers - as well as newspaper publishing group Northcliffe's South West Business site - www.southwestbusiness.co.uk. Local papers owned by Northcliffe across the South West are also profiling Challenger Businesses and looking at the themes behind the campaign including innovation, skills and leadership, and marketing. In an inventive link-up between traditional and social media, the campaign is also using Twitter to send regular updates to followers.
With trading conditions this year remaining challenging, all businesses need to continue to outthink their competitors. Additonally, Business Link's advisers are supporting this campaign by providing practical advice which businesses can use to develop and grow. |
