The Plymouth Young Chamber is a Plymouth Chamber of Commerce project designed for young people in the Plymouth area aged between 14 and 19 years old for the purpose of giving young people opportunities of business that they would not have otherwise had from school alone, as well as showing young people what opportunities are available to then within the city.
The Plymouth Young Chamber saw a successful launch in December 2008. We have had loads of opportunities available for young people so far this year, including premises tours of the Duke of Cornwall hotel, Martin Luck and ADG, Q & A with Richard Smith from Plymouth Gin, and a presentation & demonstration from the University of Plymouth with robot football.
A full list of events and opportunities is available at www.plymouthyoungchamber.co.uk If you would like your business to become involved in supporting the Plymouth Young Chamber, then please contact Beth Clayton by sending an email to beth.clayton@plymouthyoungchamber.co.uk
Beth Clayton is the Chair of the Plymouth Young Chamber. After completing a BTEC National Diploma in Business at City College Plymouth, she worked for the Plymouth Chamber for 2 months, but is now concentrating on her studies on Event Management at the University of Plymouth.
